Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure designed to improve skin texture, acne scars, fine lines, pores, and overall skin rejuvenation by stimulating collagen production. Results vary by individual and multiple treatments may be recommended.

Pre- Care Instructions

Post Care Instructions:

BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT 7 DAYS PRIOR


Avoid:

  1. - Retinol/Retinoids
  2. - AHAs/BHAs
  3. - Benzoyl peroxide
  4. - Exfoliants
  5. - Waxing/threading
  6. - Chemical peels
  7. - Excessive sun exposure or tanning


48 HOURS PRIOR


Avoid:

  1. - Alcohol
  2. - Excessive caffeine
  3. - Intense exercise
  4. - Sauna/steam rooms

PLEASE INFORM YOUR PROVIDER IF YOU HAVE:


  1. - Active acne, infection, cold sores, eczema, or psoriasis
  2. - Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  3. - Autoimmune disorders
  4. - History of keloid scarring
  5. - Recent cosmetic procedures
  6. - Accutane/isotretinoin use within the past year



AFTER YOUR TREATMENT NORMAL SIDE EFFECTS

You may experience:

  1. - Redness
  2. - Tightness
  3. - Mild swelling
  4. - Sensitivity
  5. - Dryness/flaking

These symptoms typically resolve within 24-72 hours.


FOR THE FIRST 24 HOURS DO:


  1. - Keep skin clean and hydrated
  2. - Use gentle skincare only
  3. - Sleep on a clean pillowcase
  4. - Wash hands before touching skin

DO NOT:

  1. - Wear makeup
  2. - Exercise or sweat heavily
  3. - Use saunas, hot tubs, or pools
  4. - Touch or pick at skin
  5. - Expose skin to direct sun

FOR 5-7 DAYS AFTER:

Avoid:

  1. - Retinoids
  2. - Exfoliants/acids
  3. - Benzoyl peroxide
  4. - Fragranced products
  5. - Active skincare ingredients

***Use SPF 30+ daily and avoid tanning or prolonged sun exposure.


CONTACT YOUR PROVIDER IF YOU EXPERIENCE:

  1. - Severe swelling
  2. - Increasing redness or pain
  3. - Fever
  4. - Pus or drainage
  5. - Blistering or signs of infection
